Dr. Adam Kimowitz, DMD
Co-Clinical Director

Dr. Adam Kimowitz, has years of experience in cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and prosthetic reconstruction. Dr. Kimowitz graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He also received his post graduate Implant Training at the Rutgers Dental School AAID MaxiCourse Implant program.  He is an Associate Fellow and Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI), the specialty board for Implantology as Recognized by the American Board of Dental Specialties. .  

 

 

Dr. Kimowitz is currently the  President of the Rutgers School of Dental medicine Alumni Association.  Dr. Kimowitz  lectures nationally on the topics of Implantology, Digital dentistry, and practice management.  As Graduate of the Sirona Speakers Academy, he is a lecturer at Rutgers Dental School,  faculty of the AAID New York Maxi Course,  and  the Clinical Director of the AAID Washnington DC Maxicourse.  He serves as a consultant with and lectures Nationally on Implantology for Biohorizons, Implant Direct, and Hybridge.

 

Dr Adam Kimowitz is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, NJDA,  AAID, ICOI,  the AACD.

 

Dr, Adam Kimowitz maintains a full time private practice with his father, established 42  years ago, which focuses on Implant and complex restorative dentistry in the town of Denville, NJ.

Dr. C. Benson Clark
Co-Clinical Director

Dr. C. Benson Clark graduated from Howard University's College of Dentistry. He is a diplomate for the American Society of Osseointegration and the American Board of Oral Implantology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and holds masterships with the Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy of Implant Prostheodontics. 

Dr. James Rutkowski

Dr. James Rutkowski

James L. Rutkowski, DMD, PhD, received a BS degree from the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy in 1972.He earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1976 and a PhD in Pharmacology from Duquesne University in 2008.Dr.Rutkowski is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Oral Implantology (JOI) and Past-President of the ABOI/ID. Dr. Rutkowski has a wealth of clinical experience in implant placement, esthetic surgery, bone and soft tissue grafting, and implant prosthetics. He lectures internationally on bone grafting, surgical anatomy for implant dentistry, pharmacology, and sedation techniques. Dr. Rutkowski has maintained a dental implant practice in Clarion, Pennsylvania for thirty one years.

Dr. Niels Oestervemb, DDS

Dr. Niels Oestervemb, DDS, MsC, ABGD, FAGD, graduated as valedictorian from the Royal Dental College, earning Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.  He finished a General Practice Residency followed by a Fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry at the College of Dentistry, University of Iowa. 

 

Dr. Oestervemb teaches at the College of Dentistry in Iowa, while practicing the full scope of general dentistry.  He is certified 

by the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD) and completed a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

A large portion of his spare time is devoted to both keeping up with the most recent research and writing dental articles about new dental procedures. As a result, my work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals. I also co-authored a chapter in a dental textbook on tooth colored fillings (composites). I also am a reviewer for the journal of the Academy of General Dentistry deciding if articles are suitable for publication or not.

Dr. Gadia Peabody
Faculty / Speaker

Dr. Peabody received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry (’01). Immediately following dental school, he studied at the Loma Linda University, Center for Implant Dentistry (’02), completing a preceptorship in implant dentistry. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry. Dr. Peabody worked in private practice for several years before returning to school. He completed his residency and earned a certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Southern California (’14). After practicing in San Francisco, Dr. Peabody has returned to Michigan. He now practices in Muskegon, and teaches part-time at the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. Dr. Peabody lectures internationally on prosthodontics and dental implant topics.

Dr. Natalie Wong

Dr. Natalie Wong graduated from the University of Toronto with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1996 and received her Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2007.

She is the only dentist that has attained a combination of the U.S. Board Certification in Implant Dentistry, U.S. Board Certification in Prosthodontics, and Canadian Board Certification in Prosthodontics. She is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and holds Fellowships with the Academy of General Dentistry
(AGD), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and the Misch International Implant Institute Canada for which she is also a Faculty Member. Dr. Wong currently serves as a clinical instructor in the Implant Prosthodontic Unit in the Graduate Prosthodontic Department at the University of Toronto. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Oral Implantology, Department of Periodontology, Temple University. She is on the Board of Directors for the ABOI, Past-President of the Central District of AAID, and Founder and Director of the Toronto Implant Institute Inc.

Dr. Wong lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry while maintaining a private implant surgical and prosthodontic practice in Toronto.

Dr. David Resnick

David Resnick, DDS, FAAID, DABOI/ID earned his DDS from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 1992. Prior to entering dentistry, Dr. Resnick was a certified surgical technician who assisted in a wide variety of surgical procedures, including craniotomies, knee and hip replacements, organ harvesting, and mandible/maxilla trauma cases. He currently lectures on topics including implant prosthetics, surgical asepsis and bone grafting procedures.


Dr. Resnick is an Honored Fellow and Trustee of the American Academy of Implant Dentisry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral  Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He maintains a private in Minnesota, with a focus on implantology and IV sedation services. Dr. Andrew Kelly

After graduating from Howard University in 1983, Dr. Kelly accepted a position working with one of his former professors and also worked at the University as an Academic Reinforcement Instructor. Dr. Kelly realized that this was not the career path that he wished to follow so he moved back to Los Angeles, California to establish his practice. While waiting to pass the board examination Dr. Kelly worked at Southern California Edison Company as a Medical Analyst.

 

This practice immediately excelled and became the primary practice until he moved to North Carolina. Since arriving in North Carolina Dr. Kelly has served as a Deputy Examiner for the North Carolina Sate Board of Dental Examiners. Also Dr. Kelly donates several hours of his time per month to free dental clinics in the Piedmont Triad Area. Dr. Kelly is an active member of the Forsyth County Dental Society, The American Dental Association, The North Carolina Dental Society, The Piedmont Society of Advanced Dental Studies, International Congress of Oral Implantology, Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and an a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. Dr. Kelly has served as an examiner for the American Board of Oral Implantology and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Kelly is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Dr. Kelly is an avid learner and strives to stay well informed of all new techniques and developments in his beloved profession.

Dr. Adam Foleck
Faculty / Speaker

Dr. Foleck received his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his dental training from Temple University School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1997. He continued his post-graduate training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center/School of Dentistry. The program allowed for a concentration in implants and cosmetic dentistry which he completed in 1998 and afterwards relocated to Norfolk, VA to enter private practice. In 2002, he completed the MAXI/Implant program, a year long implant course at the Medical College of Georgia and in Atlanta. In 2004, he received an Associate Fellowship standing in the American Academy of  Implant Dentistry. 

 

In 2011, he was one of only thirteen in North America to receive Diplomate status in the American Board of Oral Implantology. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2012 and an Honored Fellow in 2014 The Diplomate and the Fellow status are the highest credentialed recognition in Implant Dentistry.
 

 Dr. Foleck continues to lecture in the United States and internationally on implants and CAD/CAM surgical integration, as well as mentor dentists interested in implant dentistry. He also lectures on Practice Management and Marketing Techniques for Dental Practices.  His affiliations include membership in the Tidewater Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Board of Oral Implantology.  He has served as chairman on several committees for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry as well as participated on other committees. He is a former President for the Southern District of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and has served as a Trustee the National Board.  He is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Norfolk and giving of his time to charitable organizations.  Dr. Foleck enjoys training and participating in triathlons, traveling, and spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. Hilt Tatum

Dr Tatum is widely regarded as one of the world’s most skilled dental implant surgeons and is unmatched in his surgical and conceptual talent. For over 40 years he has been most gracious in giving his time and knowledge to advancing the discipline of implant dentistry to the dental profession. The lives of many patients and dentists have been enriched as a result of Dr. Tatum’s innovative thinking, research and implant techniques that he developed. In 1955, while a student at Emory Dental School, he attended the first program on dental implants to be given in a dental school. Throughout his career Dr Tatum’s goal has been "To bring the compromised dental patient back to normal comfort, function and esthetic dental health".

  • 1969 - began the bone expansion concept for the placement of implants

  • 1970 - introduced autogenous bone grafting techniques into Oral Implantology

  • 1974 - developed the Sinus Lift Operation

Dr. Shankar Iyer

Shankar Iyer, DDS, MDS, FAAID, DABOI/ID Dr. Iyer graduated with honors from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1994 and went on to pursue graduate studies in Prosthodontics from the same University. He taught as a Clinical Assistant Professor for several years at NYU’s Department of Post  Graduate Prosthodontics. Currently he holds two appointments in the Departments of Periodontics and Prosthodontics at Rutgers University Dental School, New Jersey.

Dr. Iyer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, an Honored Fellow and Vice President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has lectured in over 20 countries and presented at over 100 symposia in implant dentistry and prosthodontics. Dr. Iyer is Director of the AAID Asia MaxiCourse®. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals and mentors graduate residents to present posters and table clinics. He will become president of the AAID in October 2016.

Dr. Michael Fioritto
Faculty / Speaker

Dr. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Georgetown University. He then went on to Case Western Reserve University for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. While there, he received the International College of Dentists Award for demonstrating the most professional development during the four years of dental study.

Dr. Mike completed an externship at the Midwest Implant Institute after dental school and then completed a one year comprehensive program in implant dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia's MAXI course.

​

He has completed over a thousand hours of dental implant continuing education and has placed and restored over 3000 implants.  He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).  Dr. Mike is also a Fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

​

Dr. Mike is an examiner for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, where he tests general dentist, periodontists, oral surgeons and prosthodontists trying to obtain Associate Fellow and Fellowship certification.

​

Dr. Mike is passionate about learning, and keeping up with the latest trends and technology related to implant dentistry.  He is dedicated to providing the best care for his patients, and his commitment to continuing education makes it all possible.  Dr. Mike is the founder of Cleveland Implant Institute and lectures nationally for Implant Direct.

​

He completed his I.V. sedation training at the Miami Valley Hospital, and is one of a few general dentists in northeast Ohio certified by the Ohio State Dental Board to provide intravenous conscious sedation in the dental office.

​

Dr. Mike is a current member of the American Dental Association, Northeast Ohio Dental Society, the Cleveland Academy of Advanced Dental Education, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Board of Oral Implantology, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

​

When not working, Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Nicole, and their two sons.  He is currently the Pack Leader for Cub Scout Troop 166.  He enjoys watching sports and played many while growing up. While in college, he played defensive end on the Georgetown Hoyas football team.

Dr. Salah Huwais
Faculty / Speaker

Salah Huwais obtained his DDS from the University of Aleppo, Syria, School of Dentistry in 1990. He earned his Certificate in Periodontics and Implantology in 1997 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID). Dr. Huwais has been published in several peer reviewed publications and has been awarded a U.S. Patent for fluted osteotome and surgical method for use. His research on ossseodensification has had significant impact on the practice of implant dentistry. He is adjunct clinical Assistant Professor, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Post-Graduate Dental Implant Fellowship Program. Dr. Huwais maintains a private practice in Jackson, Michigan, which is limited to periodontics and implantology.

Dr. Joseph Leonetti

Dr. Joseph A. Leonetti was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and following graduation he attended Tufts New England School of Dental Medicine. After earning his DMD degree, Dr. Leonetti completed a Fellowship in Dental Anesthesia at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and a Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the New York University/ Bellevue Hospital in New York, New York. Dr. Leonetti then entered into private practice in 1983.

As a dedicated husband and father of three children, Dr. Leonetti has many interests outside of oral surgery. His hobbies include golfing, coaching baseball, and playing drums.

Dr. Bill Anderson, DDS

Dr. Anderson, a General Dentist, is a 1998 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr.Anderson is a Board Certified Oral Implantologist.

Dr. Anderson, has worked and trained for the past 15 years with the worlds greatest Oral Implantologist, including Dr. Carl Misch, Drs. Duke and Rob Heller, and Dr. Mike PIkos.  In conjunction to the dental implant training, Dr. Anderson has also fulfilled the states requirements to provide I.V. sedation or oral sedation for his patients. Dr. Anderson has most recently achieved the designation of becoming a Diplomate of the  American Board of Oral  Implantology/Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Richard Grubb

Dr. Grubb graduated in the top of his class from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1975.

After completing a residency at Sinai Hospital, where he received advanced training in surgery and anesthesia, he returned to his hometown of Havre de Grace and has been a practicing dentistry for over 35 years.
